Reservation Policies

Arrival time — please be sure to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class. 

If you have not reached out to SSP staff regarding late arrival prior to the class start time, your spot may be given to a waitlisted client.

Out of respect for the class in progress, entry will not be permitted if you are more than 10 minutes late.

First timers — please arrive 15 minutes before class so we can check you in and help to get you acquainted with the space, your instructor, and our machines.

Grip socks — grip socks are a safety precaution and required for every class. If you don’t have a pair yet, don’t worry. We sell several styles of grippy socks at the studio. 

Cancellation windows and penalty fees - vary based on membership: 

Late cancellation (less than 12 hours advance notice) will result in the loss of your class credit.

If you’re an unlimited member, late cancellation will result in a $28 fee (or the current price of a drop-in) to compensate for the loss of the spot in class.

Waitlist reservations — clients may be added from the waitlist up to 1 hour prior to the start of class. You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time but once you’re added to class, all cancellation and penalty fee policies apply.  

Courtesy cancels — in event of an emergency, we’ll waive your cancellation fee. However, there is a 2x maximum on a waived cancellation fee. If you need to late-cancel due to an emergency, please call our staff at (828) 276-3090, or email info@southslopepilates.com.

Multiple reservations — clients are responsible for canceling excess reservations within their cancellation window. South Slope Pilates will not honor any courtesy cancellations or refunds for multiple reservations made on the same day.  

Private sessions — must be canceled 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations within the 24-hour window will incur a $50 fee. No-shows will be charged in full.  

Membership Policies

Minimum commitment — all autopay memberships require a 2-month commitment in exchange for a generous discount on classes.  

Cancellation — all autopay memberships require 14 day written cancellation notice via email to info@southslopepilates.com prior to your next billing date.  

Refunds — refunds will not be given for any payments made prior to the written request to cancel membership. 

Class packages & memberships — not eligible for transfer, exchange, price adjustment, or refunds. Clients with existing memberships are not eligible for new client sales or promotions.

Refund policy

3-day refund policy — so long as you have not used any portion of your credits or membership, you may cancel your purchase of classes or membership, without penalty, within three days, exclusive of holidays and weekends, by emailing info@southslopepilates.com. You will receive a full refund less the processing fees. 

Retail return/exchange policy — unworn retail purchases with original tags attached may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase. 

Additional Studio Policies

Children in the studio — children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the studio. 

Payment — South Slope Pilates accepts all major credit cards. Cash or personal checks not accepted. 

Instructors — instructors are subject to change without notice and all reservation policies apply.  

Class Cancellation — in the unlikely event that South Slope Pilates cancels a scheduled class, you will receive a class credit for the canceled reservation. 

All clients must agree to all terms and conditions to take any South Slope Pilates class.
